• It is strongly advised that you protect your stored music by implementing a regular backup to either a local USB drive or a NAS. Implementing regular automated back-ups can be set up via the Naim app ‘Manage Music’ section as shown below, by first setting up a drive as a back-up drive, and then conducting a back-up.
  • 1. Touch the Naim app.
  • 2. Touch Uniti Core.
  • 3. Touch the Settings icon.
  • 4. Touch Manage Music.
  • 5. Touch Backup Music.
  • 6. Touch Configure a New Backup.
  • 7. Select the backup destination.
  • 8. If this is the first time you are backing up onto the chosen device you will need to format the storage device. Touch Yes.
  • 9. Choose the desired format. E.g. Touch NTFS.
  • 10. If desired change the name of your music store. Touch OK to continue.
  • 11. Formatting will erase all content currently on the disc, touch Yes.
  • 12. Your disk will now format.
  • 13. To backup your music store, touch Backup Now.
  • 14. Your disk is ready to backup, touch Yes.
  • 15. Your store will now begin to back up.
  • 16. Your backup is now complete.
  • 17. To check the status of your backup from the home screen, touch the Settings icon.
  • 18. Touch Manage Music.
  • 19. Touch Backup status.
  • 20. Your Backup status will be displayed.
