• This feature allows the user to edit the following details of a ripped CD. The Album, Artist and Track names, the Genre and the Album artwork.

    Please note: Only ripped CDs or CDs imported from a previous Naim server that have been ripped can be edited. Music content in the Downloads Folder cannot be edited. Artist Name cannot be changed globally, only on a per CD basis.

    After updating the Uniti Core, it will restart and rebuild the database. The time taken will depend on the size of your music collection. Edit metadata will not show as available until the database has been fully updated.
  • 1. Touch the Naim App.
  • 2. Touch Uniti Core.
  • 3. To edit the metadata for a specific album, navigate to the desired album.
  • 4. Touch the … icon.
  • 5. Touch Edit metadata.
  • 6. Touch the Custom tab.
    To use database suggestions for the metadata, touch the desired source E.g. Rovi, select the metadata field you wish to change and touch the desired suggestion.
  • 7. Touch the desired metadata field to edit. E.g. Touch Track 01.
    Available metadata fields that can be manually changed are: Album name, Artist Name, Track Name, Genre and the Album cover.
  • 8. Enter the desired name.
  • 9. Touch Done.
