• 1. Ensure that the Uniti Nova is not plugged in to any mains power supply.
  • 2. Connect the power cable to the Uniti Nova and switch the mains power on.
  • 3. Press the power button. The light ring around the volume control knob will pulse until the unit is set up and running.
  • 4. Touch the Naim app.
  • 5. Touch Set up new product.
  • 6. Touch Uniti Atom, Star & Nova.
  • 7. Touch NEXT.
  • 8. Touch Wireless.
  • 9. Touch the Uniti Nova.
  • 10. Confirm the details shown, then touch Next.
  • 11. Touch Done.
  • 12. Touch the desired country.
  • 13. Touch the desired product name.
  • 14. Touch the desired option.
    By selecting Decline you will not be able to use the Chromecast built-in functionality. You can set this up later by accessing the Start Up Wizard from the Settings > Factory Settings menu on the Front Panel display.
  • 15. Touch Next.
  • 16. Touch the desired option.
    Touch Yes to set up the Uniti Nova as a UPnP server. The Uniti Nova will be discoverable over a network even when in Standby mode. This will use more power.
  • 17. Touch Done.
  • 18. Your Uniti Nova is now set up and ready to use.
