naim Uniti Star
- Uniti Star UPnP enables Uniti Star to play audio files stored on UPnP servers such as the Uniti Core, network servers with integrated UPnP software, or Windows and OS X computers runnig 3rd party UPnP server software. The Uniti Star UPnP input can be selected from either its front panel, remote control or using the Naim app. UPnP file browsing can only be carried out using the Naim app. Once playback has been initiated by a play command on the app, front panel or remote control play/pause, next and previous controls can also be used to control playback.
Note: Windows Media Player version 11 or above incorporates built in UPnP support. A variety of third party UPnP applications are available that are compatible with both Windows and OS X operating systems. - 1. Touch the Naim app.
- 2. Touch Servers.
- 3. Touch the desired UPnP server.
- 4. Touch the required folder (e.g. Album).
- 5. Select an album.
- 6. Touch the name of a song to start streaming to Uniti Star.
