• Before you can rip a CD on a Uniti Star you must set up a music store – this is a drive which can be either a USB drive or an SD Card which will be used and administered exclusively by Uniti Star for the purpose of the storage of music data.

  • 1. Insert either a SD memory card or USB into the correct port on the back of the Uniti Star.
  • 2. Touch the Naim app.
  • 3. Touch Uniti Star.
  • 4. Touch the Settings icon.
  • 5. Touch Manage Music.
  • 6. Touch Configure music stores.
  • 7. Touch Configure new music store.
  • 8. Touch the desired drive.
  • 9. Before creating a new store the disk will need to be formatted. Touch Delete music.
    Formatting the device will remove any existing data, ensure you have backed up any data before starting.
  • 10. Touch Yes.
  • 11. Touch the desired format option. E.g. Touch NTFS.
  • 12. Touch the desired file format. E.g. Touch WAV.
  • 13. Touch YES.
  • 14. The Uniti Star will now perform a format of the drive.
  • 15. The new music store is now set up, touch Done.
