• 1. Ensure that the Uniti Star is not plugged in to any mains power supply.
  • 2. Connect the power cable to the Uniti Star and switch the mains power on.
  • 3. Press the power button. The light ring around the volume control knob will pulse until the unit is set up and running.
  • 4. Touch the Naim app.
  • 5. Touch Set up new product.
  • 6. Touch Uniti Atom, Star & Nova.
  • 7. Touch Next.
  • 8. Touch Next.
  • 9. Touch the Uniti Star.
  • 10. Touch the desired country.
  • 11. Touch the desired product name.
  • 12. Touch the desired option. E.g.Touch Accept.
    By selecting Decline you will not be able to use the Chromecast built-in functionality. You can set this up later by accessing the Start Up Wizard from the Settings > Factory Settings menu on the Front Panel display.
  • 13. Touch Next.
  • 14. Touch Next.
  • 15. Touch the desired option.
    Touch Yes to set up the Uniti Star as a UPnP server. The Uniti Star will be discoverable over a network even when in Standby mode. This will use more power.
  • 16. Touch Done.
  • 17. Your Uniti Star is now set up and ready to use.
