• Uniti Core is not only able to replay material ripped and stored in its own music stores, but can also replay material stored on the same network. Before material stored on shared network devices can be accessed by Uniti Core, it must scan the network to identify available network shares. Network scanning is disabled as default but can be configured via Manage Music, Configure Music Shares, Share Scanning. This option shows network shares which have been found are able to be scanned. By ticking the share you will enable it to be scanned and the music files will be added to the Uniti Core’s music database. In order for network shared music to be available to Uniti Core, folders containing audio files must be set up to be ‘shared’ and music files must be of a supported format. See Uniti Core specification for supported formats. If shares are password protected you can enter the share ‘Workgroup’ and Share ‘username’ and ‘password’ under ‘Share Settings’.
